What measures have been put in place to stop it happening in the future
The Tisza River is located in hungery. It has been affected by the cyanide pollution which is very dangerous not only too human beings but to the whole environment as well. The cause of the disaster was a leak from a gold mine situated in western Romania. The reason why there was a lot of cyanide and heavy metal in the river is because of people at the mine not paying attention or doing their jobs properly. The company should keep an eye on their waste pond where they put the waste from the mine they need to plan so that waste won’t cause problems when they get rid of it. In the future the gold mine company should pay more attention to the chemicals and to take water samples just in case for poisoning chemicals. It will take several years to turn the Tisza river to it's original state. The monitors went to the river to test the water, monitoring had been done part time but now they will have to do it full time.
Chemical Accidents and Spills devastate the environment and wild life. To reduce the harm caused by Chemical accidents, chemical plants need better controls and to operate at low temperatures and pressure. They could also manufacture less toxic compounds. Chemical accident kills a lot of fish in the river and destroyed the environment.
Local residents helped to clean the river after the disaster happened.
Pal Pepo the Minister of the environment of Romanian knew this disaster will happen but he didn’t immediately warn the people living on the Tisza River. If he had warned the people, this disaster wouldn’t have destroyed the environment and wildlife of the Tisza. Pal Pepo had failed to recognized both of the importance of the river events and the measures needed because he had the personal responsibilities of the deart of the action. The reason how he had failed are

1.
He didn’t inform the European Union the countries
2. Didn’t contact the minster of the European Affair
3. Didn’t seek operate with the scientist and NGO’s
4. Didn’t inform public
5.
Didn’t do all his responsibilities
